Counselling Service
Offering a safe space to be seen and heard

Life can be really hard at times.

As much as we want to talk to our friends, family and loved ones etc,
sometimes they just aren't able to really hear us.  Or to the contrary, we may find it really hard to open up and talk about our experiences at all.

You may be experiencing strong emotional reactions that you don't
understand or that you find challenging to sit with and work through.

You may be spending alot of energy putting on a brave face.
On one hand you may not want others to see how much you are suffering
while on the other, you may feel isolated and as if no-one cares.

You may even feel confused and exhausted and not know which way to turn.

At times, when you feel overwhelmed with emotions, stuck or simply need
a space to be really heard, it can be helpful to have someone understand things
from your point of view.  That's where counselling can be of benefit.

I offer a compassionate, non judgemental, confidential space
where you can be seen and heard.  In this space we can explore
what is going on for you in order to facilitate thoughts and feelings
being heard, worked through and released.

You are in charge of the pace of the session and you don't have to
talk about anything you don't feel comfortable to share.

I have worked with clients who experienced :

stress
depression (see video below)
anxiety
shame
trauma
low self esteem
bullying
phobias
anger issues
bereavement
separation/divorce
the effects of sexual, emotional and physical abuse
